Combine Human Resource Software and IT Software for a Cheaper Option

A company can save costs by combining its human resource software and IT software.

Our company has just invested in this technology, and now HR seems to be a lot easier, not just for our colleagues in this team, but also for all the people who have to access their services on a daily basis.

Before we had to access a variety of different programmes to just create an invoice. Now, it is all done centrally and there is one place you go to raise an invoice, and you can also send this between departments, which quickens up the process no end.

It has taken a while to get used to working with the new software, but we have each had an hour training session on it, with the relevant IT and HR people, and we are helping remind each other what the various buttons mean.

It has been more difficult to teach some of the members of staff who have worked with the old system for longer, as the new human resource software is radically different, but they are getting there.

Some of us have even been given portable tablet PCs so as we can use the technology on the move, and take it to various meetings with us.

There is a special notice board with the new software where staff can discuss anything they want from social outings to problems with the software or further ideas for the company to make money, and this board tends to be the focus of a lot of discussion.

It was however something that was free with the new software, and many staff had asked for an outlet where they could interact with other staff and discuss their thoughts and views. The feedback from the site has been very good, and there are plenty of ideas buzzing around on how to make it even better.
